About Us

Chris and April first met during their high school years, where their relationship began as high school sweethearts. They married at the age of 19, shortly before Chris enlisted in the Navy. Over the following years, they traveled extensively while growing their family. What began as a family of two soon became six, and they ultimately chose to establish roots within their community—marking the beginning of Sparrow Hill.

Although Chris works as a hospice nurse, he grew up around horses and maintained a deep connection to them throughout his life. Inspired by this lifelong passion, he envisioned creating a boarding facility that would allow him to be around horses daily while also sharing that love with his children.

April, on the other hand, works as a local nurse practitioner. After navigating her own challenges with ADHD, she was motivated to develop a practical solution for others with similar experiences. This led to the creation of the Sparrow Hill Farms Self-Care Planner, designed to help individuals more effectively organize and manage their day-to-day lives.

Whether you come to Sparrow Hill Farms to board your equine companion or to explore our self-care planners, we warmly welcome you!
